Through simulating a company environment, The Testing Ground aims to nurture and inspire emerging artists and bridge the gap between student and professional. Our mission is not only to build the skills necessary to propel young artists into the industry, but to authentically emulate the intricacies of company life.

Successful applicants will participate in a five month season where they will take weekly classes, working in contemporary, ballet, partnering and conditioning. Artists will engage in improvisation and choreographic tasking techniques, helping them develop artistry and find their own creative voice. During the season dancers will be exposed to the entire creative process behind producing a professional show, having works created on them for both the stage and screen.
